Our church has established a fund to help individuals and families in financial need who are outside of our worshiping community. We also have an Outreach Committee consisting of several church members who oversee the distribution of these funds. The Committee reports to the deacons. We become aware of needs either from individuals who call the church looking for assistance, from church members who bring needs to our attention, or from local welfare offices with whom we occasionally partner in addressing cases of need. If you know of any individuals or families whom we might be able to assist, please let one of the deacons know. They will refer the situation to the Committee. The outreach fund is supplied completely by donations designated for this fund. If you would ever like to contribute financially to this ministry of mercy, please place in the offering a check payable to Exeter Presbyterian Church with “for Outreach Committee” written on the memo line. Please contact Nathan Snyder (314-456-9419) if you have any questions regarding the work of the Outreach Committee.
We occasionally plan service projects in Exeter or in the wider region. Keep your eyes on the EPC Newsletter for such opportunities as they arise, and join with us in sharing the love of Christ through hands-on ministry.
